At this year’s members’ meeting, we will be having a dessert night with coffee and tea instead of a dinner. There will still be the fun in fellowship, door prizes, and a talk to cap off the night. Part of the annual general meeting will include a report of what the association has been up to in the past year.

We are suggesting a $10 donation per person. Please RSVP by June 6. The talk will begin around 8:00 pm after the dessert time.

Why This Scientist Can’t Believe in Evolution and open Q&A session

Speaker:

Dr Ed Neeland is an organic chemistry professor at the University of British Columbia’s Okanagan Campus. He received his PhD from the University of British Columbia. He became a PhD scientist because the beauty of nature captured him early and he wanted answers to his questions. Ed became a follower of Jesus Christ at the age of 18 and soon learned that his biology professors and the Bible were at odds. This started an eye-opening period of comparing the evidence against both origin accounts. It became very apparent that the biblical story of creation was far more consistent with the evidence than evolution. His research specializes in the synthesis of new antibiotic/anti-inflammatory medicines.

Classic and new creation books and DVDs will be available for purchase. Old resources to be cleared out as well.
