About the talk:
Sheep are mentioned more frequently that any other animal in the Bible – about 750 times. The Bible makes many comparisons between the ways of sheep and people. Dr. Sherwin answers questions regarding these woolly animals including, where did sheep come from? Why is wool so insulating? What is the significance of the Passover lamb (Numbers 9)? Verses in Exodus 15, Zechariah 13, Jeremiah chapters 10 and 23, Ezekiel 34, and Revelation 15 are discussed.
Frank Sherwin has a bachelor’s degree in biology from a secular college. While obtaining his master’s degree in zoology at the University of Northern Colorado, he studied under one of the foremost parasitologists in the US. He has received an Honorary Doctorate of Science from Pensacola Christian College. He contributes his scientific expertise to a variety of Institute for Creation Research’s publications on creation science and is one of ICR’s most sought-after speakers. He is the author of The Ocean Book and Guide to Animals, co-author of The Fossil Record: Unearthing Nature’s History of Life and The Human Body: An Intelligent Design, and a contributor to Guide to Creation Basics and Creation Basics & Beyond.
