Description
In this report, I will attempt to show that the interpretation of long ages in the ice is a result of a preconceived view of earth history, rather than direct evidence of characteristics in the ice. It is true that direct evidence exists in the ice for annual layers which can be traced back several thousands of years. However, due to properties of the ice sheets the identification of annual layers is limited to less that 10,000 years B.P. An alternative model of ice-core chronology will be presented in detail, which is based on the expectation of ocean and atmospheric conditions following the Flood, as described in Genesis 6-9.
